Summer Strikes for BA are unlikely….

So it seems that summer is getting in full swing, so I thought it would be nice to give you some good news for any of you planning to travel with BA over the summer break.   The planned strike, due to start Tuesday by British Airways cabin crew has been postponed following a new offer to staff from the airline.
The decision not to vote on further strikes means that action at the beginning of August is unlikely because of the timescale – a ballot would take about a month and the union must give BA a week’s notice of any action planned.  Cabin crew union Unite recommended cancellation of the ballot following a renewed offer to BA staff which the airline said would be withdrawn if the vote went ahead.

There is still a threat for British Airways cabin crew to strike as they are mulling over the revised deal but at this time things seem to be going our way.
