Seabourn Quest offically named

Award winning actress Blythe Danner named the newest Luxury Seabourn ship the Qeust in Barcelona on the 20th June.  Passengers that booked on the maiden voyage also had the opportunity in joining in with the celebrations.  They pulled out all the stops for the launch, a full orchestra played either side of the swimming pool, and a projection screen above the deck allowed the guests to watch the moment the bottle of champagne smashed against the bow of the ship.  Crew members broke confetti-filled champagne bottles in a synchronized wave pattern as the bottle crashed, the evening was capped off by a dazzling firework display.  The ship then sailed on a 14-day Maiden Voyage to Athens, stopping off at seaside ports and towns in France, Italy, Greece and Turkey.

The Seabourn Quest is the third new ship and the sixth to join its fleet, completing a three year expansion of the line.  After sampling the Seabourn Sojorn myself I know this is a wonderful ship, with fantastic food, wine and Luxury accommodation.
