Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth to name the Queen Elizabeth

Cunard are proud to announce the Majesty, Queen Elizabeth will name their new liner Queen Elizabeth in Southampton on the 11th October.  The Queen was present when her mother named the original Queen Elizabeth in 1938.  The Queen also named the QE2 and the Queen Mary.

I am especially excited as I have been invited to one of the launch parties for cruise agents which is on the 9th October.  This will give us chance to have a good look round the beautiful vessel and sample her fine dining and entertainment.  My manager Vicki is also going to the official naming ceremony on the 11th October so she is all excited for this.  This makes our job so worthwhile; it takes me back to when the Queen Elizabeth maiden voyage went on sale.  After a couple of weeks promoting her voyages and over 100  pre registrations it was all systems go on the 1st April at 1pm to get them all booked.  Once again Cruise.co.uk was the agent that came out on top and got the most passengers booked.  After only 29 minutes she was sold out with the other voyages selling fast.

I will make sure I take my camera and will snap away to give you as much information and photos of her.
