It’s so easy to stay in touch while you are away with smart phones, tablets and iPad, now you can stay connected with your favourite cruise line too. Some of these applications are specifically developed for use on board, allowing you to pre book dining reservations, book shore excursions, check your on board account or even able to navigate around the ship with built in deck plans. Other applications are designed to search a ship by destination, date, ship or departure port, view webcams and stateroom descriptions.

CARNIVAL HUB

At the moment only available on the Carnival Breeze, should be fleetwide within 24 months. Here you can view deck plans, itinerary details, a day by day schedule of on board events, and you can also view your account. You can also chat to anyone else on board with the same app, but at an additional cost.

NORWEGIAN ICONCIERGE

Available aboard Norwegian Epic, Breakaway, Getaway, Pearl, Jewell and Pride of America. You can reserve shore excursions, a table in one of the restaurants, see what activities are taking place during the day. You can also chat with friends on board via the built in messenger function, available at an additional cost.

CELEBRITY XPLORER

IPhone users can discover everything that Celebrity has to offer, you can search by ship, destination, departure port or sail date.

MSC CRUISES HOLIDAY & TRAVEL

Here you can take a virtual ship tour, search destinations and itineraries, view live webcam.

ROYAL APP

The features include a cruise search function, cruise deals detailed deck plans. There is a live webcam of the Allure of the Seas and the Oasis of the seas.

ROYAL IQ

A new generation of on board app for iPhone and Android aboard the Quantum of the Seas and the Anthem. You are able to make bookings for shore excursions, manage Dynamic Dining reservations and also pre book theatre shows.

DISNEY CRUISE NAVIGATOR

This app lets you see what is happening every minute of every day, you can browse spa services, deck parties, ports of call, youth services. You can even find your children’s favourite Disney characters on board. There is also an on board chat function via the app on Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy sailings.

PRICNESS@SEA

The award winning app gives guests the ability to browse restaurant menus, check their on board account, look at daily activities, read up on port information. They also have an instant message function that should be rolled out across the fleet by the end of 2015.
