Family cruise all booked…..

Well we have finally booked our family cruise for this year, so now have two very excited children.  We are going on the Ventura, end of July.  Its a lovely itinerary calling into 2 of my favorite ports, Kotor (Montenegro) and Venice (Italy).  We have been debating on what to do this year, either go back to Spain where we have a place or take a cruise, but when we looked at the difference in price the cruise won hands down.  With all that is included, the children clubs, the fact I do not have to cook for 2 weeks was what made the decision so much easier!

My children are 11 and 6 so the facilities on the Ventura will be perfect for them.  The ship has Tumblers, a parent supervised play area for under 2s which also doubles as a Night Nursery for 5s and under, Toybox for 2 to 4 year olds (Splashers), Jumping Jacks for 5 to 8 year olds (surfers), The Den for 9 to 12 year olds (Scubas) and Decibels for 13 to 17 year olds (H20), which are all located at the aft end of Sun Deck.

We are flying into Venice and have 1 night before we join the ship….. I went to Venice a couple of years ago and was amazed by the place, so I am really looking forward to show the family.  We are going to stay in the Mestre area and use the public transport, where people have to told me is cheap and easy to use.  I will report back on this when I get back.

When I booked the cruise I was so excited, it made me realise what an exciting time it is.  I book so many cruises and so many amazing itineraries for my clients and now know what they must feel like when they have put the phone down.

Not yet on count down. but I don’t think we will be long doing this……
