A Downton Abbey cruise?

I am probably one of the few people that have never watched an episode of Downton, and think I will avoid going into the office when the last ever episode is aired… think a few of my colleagues will be very upset. So what lies ahead for the cast?? It has been reported that Phyllis Logan (who I’m told plays the part of Mrs Hughes) has expressed an interest in hosting a Downton Abbey themed cruise, she thinks this would be great fun.

So what cruise ship to you think would be most suitable? For me it has to be Cunard – the more traditional cruise line. I am sure the Queens Grill rooms would be a perfect setting for some scenes, and the Queens Room where elegant traditional afternoon tea is served. White-gloved waiters serve delightful cucumber sandwiches, fresh scones and tea accompanied by the sounds of the orchestra is a perfect match setting for Downton. On the evening the Queens Room becomes a perfect setting for gala balls and lice music!

I have to say I think it would be a really big hit for all those hard core Downton fans.
