All sorted for summer 2012

We have been debating on booking our summer holiday for so long now, we didn’t know if we wanted to take a UK holiday or go abroad, but with the miserable weather we have had over the past few weeks we have decided to go for it and have booked to go to Spain. I cannot believe how excited I am, I feel like a big kid. The children are over the moon, was lovely to see their excited faces. I feel like this year has gone so quickly, so will be nice to spend 2 weeks away from work (I do love my job but it’s nice to get away from it for a while) and have some quality time with my family. While we are away we will be celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary, as we know the area really well we have chosen our favourite restaurant to have a romantic meal (plus children). When I book it I will mention it’s a special occasion you never know we might have a little surprise on the table!! Talking of celebrations my mother in law is going on a cruise tomorrow with her partner for her 60th. She is so excited! I have just ordered her a bottle of champagne in her cabin, she will love this. I think it is important to be looked after, especially if you are celebrating something special, it doesn’t have to be expensive but it goes a long way.

I am amazed at how many people have not yet booked, especially families. It seems that they have searched for a land based holiday and are shocked at how expensive they are, so checking a cruise as an alternative. When they look into what’s included, meals, entertainment, visiting different places and the excellent facilities for children they realise that cruising is definitely an option.
