Detox….

I do love to party with my friends, and the past few months I think I have taken my body to the max.  After gaining a few pounds and drinking my way through a few (well maybe more than a few) bottles of wine, oh and Barcadi I have decided to have a Detox.
 So out came my running gear and in with healthy food my detox started.  It has been a week now and wow how good do I feel.  No alcohol for a week and a very healthy diet has seen me loose 5lbs. I couldn’t believe it when I stepped on the scales. It has made me even more determind and motivated. 
I understand now why the Gym is very popluar while onboard a ship, a gym workout will only take up about an hour of your day and still keeps you in with your fitness regime. 
Not only do ships offer gym facilities but it also gives you your regular fitness workouts, pilates and dance classses, all without an additional charge.
What are your thoughts on these facilities on ships?
