It’s an Epic Launch…..

Norwegian Cruise Line’s brand new Norwegian Epic is to sail in the Mediterranean in summer 2011.  She spends the May-October season on one-week Mediterranean voyages from Barcelona. Ports of call include: Florence/Pisa (Livorno); Rome (Civitavecchia); Naples, Italy; and Palma, Majorca, Spain, along with two full days at sea to explore all that the ship has to offer.

The 4200-passenger ship has lots of innovation, including performances of by the Blue Man Group, an Ice Bar, interactive theatrical dining, 60 suites and villas with private courtyard plus staterooms for families and people traveling solo. Kids will have a blast with meet-and-greet Nickelodeon characters and special entertainment.

Seven decks of Freestyle Family Fun include a 33-foot high, 64-foot wide extreme rock climbing wall, six bowling lanes in two venues; a mixed-use sports deck with the ability for passengers to participate in eight different athletic activities; as well as three separate childrens’ and teen activity areas.

Norwegian Epic will offer the next generation of Freestyle Dining with 20 dining choices and 20 bars and lounges.
