I always find big ships quite ugly looking but was surprised that I actually liked the look of her. Instead of looking like a big block of flats she looked very elegant.
I loved the decor and colours they were very warming and worked really well, so much so that I would love to bring these colours into my home. Just trying to broach the subject with my husband to start decorating our living room. Will update you on this.
The things that stood out for me was the fact that each cabin had tea and coffee making facilities, which is a big plus point for a lot of people. Also a proper hairdryer that was worth using. The wardrobes were very spacious and had glass sliding doors which saved a lot of space. I was lucky enough to be allocated a superior balcony cabin, which had a seperate seating area and 2 flat screen tvs, and a large patio door leading out to the balcony that was furnised with 2 charis and a table. Did you know that if you had friends travelling with you and you wanted 2 balcony cabins next door to each other you can have the balconies opened making one big balcony, great for a few drinks with your friends before dinner is served.
The facilities for children were excellent and I will post a seperate blog on this as I have lots more information and photos on this, as I know how important this information is to booking a family holiday.
The food was excellent and again will post another blog on this together with the facilities onboard and my personal view of the retreat area which was my all time favourite part of the ship.
