Down under is the new cruise destination

Forget the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, Down under is the new cruise destination.  I have so many calls from past clients and new alike who have been cruising for the past 10 – 15 years, or maybe longer and are now looking for something different.  They have exhausted the Mediterranean, Norway and Baltic, the British Isles, visited the Caribbean, Alaska and need new inspiration.

You can flee the winter chills and in just over 24 hours be sampling the delights of Australia, distances are vast and so what better way to explore this beautiful part of the World.

Cruise routes around Australia normally concentrate on ports along the eastern and northern coasts, Brisbane, the Great Barrier Reef, Cairns, Port Douglas, Townsville and Darwin are the main ports of call, with durations typically between seven and ten days.

You may be visiting family and friends and want to take yourself off to have a week on your own, what better way to do this, there are lots of cruise ships that cruise around Australia, so it wouldn’t be difficult to find a ship that suits you.

The following companies include:
Princess Cruises, Crystal Cruises, Cunard Line, Fred Olsen Cruise Line, Holland America Line, Oceania Cruises, P&O Cruises, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Royal Caribbean, Silversea and Yachts of Seabourn.
