I am back…….

Well I am back from my holiday and what a fantastic time we had.  Sun shining every day, at the beach or round the pool watching my children play. Bliss…… Now I hear that the Spanish air staff is deciding on whether to strike or not.  If only they had when we were due to fly home.  We were so not ready to come back, usually after 2 weeks you are ready to go home, but believe me my husband had to force me into the hire car to go back to the airport.  If it wasn’t for the fact my sister was going out to the villa the day after we got back I definatly would of stayed.

Our flight on the way out was delayed by 3 hours due a French air strike – but thank God the pilot decided to get us all on the flight and allow us to sit on the aircraft knowing there was a lengthy delay, as my friends who were on a later flight the same day was cancelled and they were sent home only to fly them the next day from Leeds airport.  My daughter had the opportunity to see the cock pit and talk to the Pilot so she was in her element, and my son loved running up and down the aisle talking to anyone who wasn’t asleep.  By the end of the flight most of the passengers knew my sons name and had made friends with him. 

We all had a great time and my son certainly slotted into the Spanish way of life, he loved his afternoon’s siestas, or maybe mommy and daddy loved the peace and quiet more!! I will post photos tomorrow as I forgot to bring my camera to work to download them.  Something for you to look forward to.
