Silversea adds more UK voyages

With a rise in Luxury and High End cruises over the past 12 months, Silversea have added more UK voyages to its 2012 programme due to demand for more ex UK sailings.

Silversea are now offering 20 voyages, either embarking or disembarking from UK ports, making it the largest Silversea programme to date.

Silver Spirit, Silver Whisper, Silver Cloud and Silver Explorer will dock at Southampton, Portsmouth, Greenock and London Tower Bridge.

They have also renamed the luxury expedition ship Princes Albert II to Silver Explorer in preparation for the upcoming Summer Season and to align with their other 5 ships.  As their first foray into expedition cruises, the Princes Albert II has proved to be very successful, especially with the loyal Silversea guests, and there is a possibility of adding more expedition ships later on, all of which will have the “Silver” name.

So some exciting news ahead for Silversea and I think the other Luxury Cruises Lines over the next 12 months will start to  push the UK market even more.

I am off on the Seadream next week for 1 night, can’t wait to sample the delights of this fine Yacht and will bring you my thoughts and of course photos when I am back.
