This year is set to be an amazing year for cruising with Four fantastic new ships to watch out for!
Just arrived is the Seabourn Encore, Seabourns newest and largest ship accommodating up to 600 guests, whilst keeping the look and feel of a luxury yacht. There’s two new specialty restaurants on board and menus by celebrity chef Thomas Keller. All cabins on Encore are suites with balconies, walk in wardrobes and bathrooms with marble sinks and separate baths and showers.
Launching April will be Silver Muse which also will be Silverseas largest ever ship. Offering a modern design compared to Silverseas other more traditional ships. It is promising one of the best crew to guest ratios in the industry giving an even more personal service. The Panama lounge looks like the perfect place to relax, meet friends and have a cocktail or two whilst watching the world go by.
June 2017 will see MSC Meraviglia launching which is and exciting new ‘smart ship’ offering ‘high tech’ features, including Near Field Communication Technology on their cruise card, smart bracelet or phone to pay for items, unlock their stateroom or even locate their children! MSC Meraviglia is marketed as the ship for all seasons offering a variety of entertainment options including a fantastic Cirque Du Soleil performance and also the largest pool side space at sea!
Later in the year MSC will be launching another new and exciting new ship ‘MSC Seaside’, which will be known as ‘the ship that follows the sun’. Specifically built for warm weather cruising. The unique design will make her look like a beach hotel, the promenade deck will wrap around the ship and the main focus will be the multi story Water Park which will be very appealing to families.
My choice would be the MSC Seaside with it having that great family appeal…..Which would you choose??
