The wait is nearly over..

MSC Bellissima is launching this week, on 2nd March 2019 will be the naming ceremony with lot’s celebrities there such as Sophia Loren, Andrea Bocelli and Holly Willoughby. The maiden voyage will be on Monday 4th March 2019 from Southampton sailing to Genoa on a 10 night cruise.

Bellissima will be the largest ship to launch from Southampton, so it is a very exciting time for MSC. The ship will join MSC Meraviglia in the company’s Meraviglia-class of cruise ships. She will have a tonnage of 171,598 GT and a capacity of 4,500 passengers and have she will have some excellent new technology with the new innovative MSC for me, which will connect passengers to the ship, crew and fellow guests and also the world’s first digital cruise assistance called Zoe which is a voice assisted intelligence device which you will find in every cabin.

This wonderful ship also has a two deck inside promenade with a 80 metre long LED dome, this is filled with boutiques and restaurants. MSC Yacht club will be on board and also the Aurea Spa, there will be an Aqua Park, Sports complex and a wide range of bars and lounges for you enjoy that special cocktail whilst watching the world go by!

Some of my colleagues are attending the launch this weekend so will get a good look at the ship, i wish i was going but i’ll be sure to catch up with them next week to find out all about it.
