What’s the traffic like in Southampton?

Over the last few months I have heard a few horror stories regarding road works around the docks and not only passengers getting to the ship late or later than expected but also ship staff also arriving late.

These stories do not seem to be surfacing at the moment, so ‘What is the traffic situation in Southampton at the moment’? Do you know? if so please share.

I am actually going on a cruise myself in 2 weeks, doing the 4 night Adventure of the Seas trip and will be blogging live during the trip. For all my 13 years in the travel business I have never cruised on Royal Caribbean so I am looking forward to this and i am sure will be reflected in my blog and photos.
