Royal Caribbeans news just gets bigger and bigger

The news is big and it’s all about big.

Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas, the worlds largest ship at 225,000 tonnes is to make Barcelona it’s new home from April 2015 after spending it’s first 4 years sailing out of Florida.

She will be doing 7 night cruising visiting the Ports of Barcelona, Palma, Marseilles, La Spezia, Rome , Naples and then returning back to Barcelona.

The ship has 15 decks with an Aqua Theatre, Outdoor park, a Seaside themed boardwalk, Casino with 27 tables and over 450 slot machines, Theatre for their Broadway promotions and much much more.

Like most Royal Caribbean ships there is a lot of emphasis on keeping the children and family entertained.

Kids and Families: Complimentary DreamWorks Experience – memorable moments including character dining, parades, and meet & greets with favourite characters from Shrek, Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda and more. Complimentary Adventure Ocean Youth Program. Royal Babies and Royal Tot programming. Teen lounge areas and disco. H2O Zone kids’ water park. 3D movie theatre.  Two FlowRider surf simulators. Two rock-climbing walls, Zip line, full-sized basketball court, Ice-skating rink, Mini-golf course and Hand-carved carousel.

As well as the main dining room there are also 13 other complimentary dining options including the famous Windjammer, the Dog House, and, Park Cafe. There is also a Starbucks cafe on-board.

Come February 18th and this ship will go on sale for European 2015 sailings but if you are a crown and Anchor member then you can book from the 12th February.

This ship will no doubt have a massive interest in Europe and will sell quickly so get your card on the ready to book.

Prices will start from £799pp with a 3 rd and 4th Person reduction.

If a Fly Cruise does not take your fancy then my next blog will be of interest as I talk about the most innovative ship out there sailing from Southampton from April 2015, again a Royal Caribbean ship.
