Tomorrow morning sees me on my journey down to Southampton for the start of my 3 day Quantum experience, for those of you that are familiar with the Quantum Class ships you will be more than aware that 3 days is nowhere near enough time to experience it’s vast array of facilities, amenities and first for cruising experiences but i will be giving it a damn good try. I will also be having my camera with me at all times so will be posting onto my Facebook account as often as I can so keep an eye on it.
Over the years holidays for me has been about the physical experience, with Royal Caribbean for example it is the swimming and the water Zones, the sports decks including the rock climbing walls, Roller blading and the FlowRider. Now as I settle well into my Forties I find that the shows in the theatres and on the Promenade to be of great entertainment and the dining experience as a great memory of my time cruising and looking at the Quantum I will not be disappointed.
I may try the Bumper cars.
Mamma Mia is the headline act and as a fan of Broadway musical shows I am looking forward to this one, I have not seen it yet and would cost me and my partner the best part of £100.
Then their is the new’Dynamic’ dining experience which is looking like the way forward for cruising, not everyone’s cup of tea but times are changing.
There is a total of 18 venues on the Quantum class ship, I’ll do my best to visit them all.
