This time every year is an exciting time for us cruise agents, the release of the following years cruise itineraries, prices and deals are released and it creates a frenzy of interest from many clients looking to get their ideal cruise in their ideal cabin.
Well this year has been a little different, a good different as well with the launch of P&O’s new ship ‘The Britannia’ and Royal Caribbean’s ‘Anthem of the Seas’.
Anthem has already been on sale for a few weeks and has done very well whilst Britannia goes on sale on the 26th March and if my pre registrations are anything to go by then it is going to be a huge success.
I am predicting that its maiden voyage on the 14th March 2015 and the 14 night Xmas cruises on the 18/ 19th December will sell out very very quickly.
So what else is new for 2015 apart from the new ships?
Well P&O Oceana will be taking over from the Ventura on the Fly Med, i am not too sure what to make of that, is it to give passengers a different cruise ship experience around the same ports of call, perhaps with the smaller ship it can go into different ports or maybe the Ventura had too much capacity to fill on a Fly Cruise.
What ever the reasons it is good to see that P&O are being pro-active and giving us options.
All the P&O cruises except Britannia (March 26th) go on sale from the 3rd April but the itineraries, fares and deck plans are available for quoting.
Who’s booking on launch day?
Anyone else?
