2012 has been another great year for the cruise industry with more passengers sailing from the UK than ever before. With a choice of Liverpool, Harwich, Greenock, Tilbury, Dover, Portsmouth, Southampton to name a few and then all the fly cruises it’s no wonder the cruise industry is growing.
Over my 12 years in the travel industry it has been amazing to see at first hand, whilst most Bucket and Spade holiday companies are stripping down the luxuries and even the basics of their flights, hotels, transfers and customer service the cruise Lines are looking at ways to make the holiday experience all the more better than it offered the year before.

The list is endless, to the point that whole new ships are soon coming into service.
There are more cruise lines looking at sailing out of the UK in 2013 too with MSC having alot of success in their sailings from Southampton.
What’s missing from the UK market that you would like to see? I know alot of my clients from previous years would like to see Thomson Cruises sail out of the UK again.
Do we need more formal ships, freestyle, family friendly or adult only? Again what do you think.
