P&O say goodbye to Adonia

P&O Adonia will be leaving the P&O fleet and working under the brand new brand Fathom.

Although still early stages with questions to be answered such as how can we book, how much will it cost and what the activities are but as you will see reading down this is a completely new cruise experience.

I wonder if there are that many people out there that would make this a success, Carnival clearly think so.

Adonia will focus on the growing number of people who want to work alongside local communities as part of their travel experience in such areas as education, the environment and economic development. Fathom provides a unique opportunity for people who wish to combine their love of travel and a desire to make a lasting contribution to a worthwhile cause.

From April 2016, Adonia will be redeployed for the start up period of the operation sailing out of Miami to the Dominican Republic on a weekly basis and travelers will be working on programmes that make a positive social impact on the communities they visit.

The primary aim is to allow travellers interested in People to People tourism to have a chance to help local communities abroad. The voyages have been designed to appeal to the American market but of course all nationalities are welcome on board if they choose this travel experience.

What do you think to this?

Is this something that would interest you?
