So what does 2015 have in store

Well for Royal Caribbean it is a case of out with the old and in with the new as Southampton says goodbye to Adventure and Independence of the Seas and hello to Explorer and Anthem of the Seas.

To many the experience of sailing with Explorer of the Seas will be the same as Adventure of the Seas, both from the same Voyager class ship but the Anthem is a whole lot more of a different experience to Independence. For a start there is over 500 passengers more for every sailing which is huge but then there is all the latest modern technology to go with it, Robotic waiters, Ipad style check-in, online dinner reservations for all restaurants including those that do not have a cover charge. There is the NCL style freedom dining through-out and the amazing Sea Plex, Two70,  Rip Cord by Fly. Click here and here and here and here 🙂 to see my blogs I did when I spent a few days on the sister ship, Quantum of the Seas.

For P&O there is no goodbye although Oceana is off to the Med to do 7 and 14 night cruises from Genoa and Venice but there is a big hello to the mother of all British ships, The Britannia.

Britannia Britannia Atrium Britannia Union Jack..

This will be a brand new experience for all P&O lovers and is expected to be a big hit. On the first day of sale back in April many of the cruises sold out on the day and it is still selling well now. Again I will be lucky enough to spend 3 days on her in march, just days before her maiden voyage and as always I will be live blogging onto my Facebook Cruise page I have, click here to view and like my page.

2015 is also the year that Cunard celebrates 175 years of service.

Did you know Cunard assisted in the Falklands war, picked up all the survivors from the Titanic and carries pet dogs and cats across the Atlantic? Cunard history is 2nd to none.

May 25th, Liverpool, The Mersey, put that in your diary and witness Cunards celebrations as all 3 Queens will be docked there ready to reconstruct some of their 1st itineraries and no doubt produce a firework display that should match any New year firework spectacle.

Incredibly there are still a few cabins left for this.

Hopefully 2014 has been a good year for you, 2015 should be better, tell me what you are doing, especially if you are experiencing the new ships or seeing Cunard in Liverpool.
