Ryanair is an airline I very very rarely use for my clients, yes they may fly from and go to convenient local airports, their prices might be good and punctuality there with the best but……
Do something wrong on your ticket or forget to bring your boarding passes to the airport and you can end up paying more in admin fees than what the flight cost in the first place. I have had clients call me after booking their seats because their name on the passport is in their maiden name, this would mean having to buy a whole new ticket which gets more and more expensive the nearer you get to the date.
Not printing your boarding pass and taking it to the airport costs around £40pp per flight, can you imagine that for a family of 4!!! And all they do is print it off onto a piece of paper for you.
These rip-off admin jobs do not go down well.
Well Ryanair have a new ticket service/ price called ‘Business Plus’.
Unlimited flight changes
Free changes on the day of travel
Pack for business AND pleasure
Check in and chill out
Beat the queues
Save time at the airport
Board first (or last) – Your choice
Extra leg room
Speedy exit
Me personally, I think this is great although I have yet to check price comparisons to their standard ticket but if it is reasonable then i think is worth it just for the peace of mind.
Business Plus is only available at selected airports but if it is successful then I am sure it will be available for more and more and maybe 1 day all airports.
Once you have your tickets though you still have to endure the flight and Ryanair onboard service which is not known for being the best, or even great but if the price is right……..
