I was excited this week to find my new copy of the P&O Cruises brochure for March 2015 to March 2016 in my post. I know it’s all online, I am more old fashioned and would rather look through the actual brochure than browse an online version.
Ventura will spend her Summer season of 2014 based in Europe offering great value fly cruises, however with the proposed ban on the size of ships, I thought they may have put her on an alternative route but it appears P&O have made the decision to completely remove Ventura from the Med and have her cruising out of Southampton alongside her sister Azura and new Britannia.
Instead, P&O have put Oceana – one of P&O’s smaller ships – down in the Med offering a similar cruise to the Ventura however I do worry that the Oceana will not have the same appeal as the Ventura. What do you think?
To give you an idea on what the Oceana will be offering cruisers,
Like the Ventura these can be done a either 7 or 14 nights.

Day 8 – Venice – Disembark
Or/and

Day 3 – Kotor
Day 4 – Corfu
Day 5 – Day at Sea

What do you think? Have you been on the Oceana or Ventura and is this the best way forward for P&O?
