HM The Queen to name Britannia???

With the Britannia launch quickly approaching, the Godmother is still yet to be announced. Kate Middleton was one of the people thought to be her Godmother and set to name her but her recent pregnancy has put a stop to that.

However could the Queen be set to be her Godmother? Britannia unlike all the other ships in the P&O fleet will be registered in the UK. All the other ships in the P&O fleet are registered in Bermuda so that they can have wedding’s on board.

However I have been told that the Queen will be in Southampton, Hampshire on the 10th March 2015 on official Royal Business. The last ship in the P&O fleet named by the Queen was the Oriana back in 1995.

P&O have called her Britannia so I couldn’t think of a better person to name her and bless all that sail in her!
