Secrets of Staterooms 4178 and 4180 on Queen Victoria

If like me, you are in to everything cruise, then you may have noticed that the Queen Victoria has 2 staterooms that can be found on board and these are very special staterooms.

You will find these staterooms on deck 4 – 4180 and 4178. Now really important, although the Queen Elizabeth is the same ship design as the Queen Victoria, the Victoria is the only one to have the benefits of an extra-long balcony.

This is due to there being an emergency stairway in-between the two cabins that comes out at deck 2. The Queen Elizabeth has the stairway so be aware of this.

They are in fact the only 2 Britannia staterooms to have 2 Chairs, a table and 2 Sun Loungers on the entire ship.

Now typically the staterooms on Deck 4 are bigger than those on the higher decks, this is the same on Arcadia and Queen Elizabeth, for example Deck 8 would be 242 Sq. Ft. and deck 4 would be 264 Sq. Ft. but Staterooms 4180 and 4178 are a massive 339 Sq. Ft.

I have mentioned the Arcadia a couple of times, being a sister ship – she does also feature these bigger balconies but they had been closed up until recently so if you are a P&O Fan look for these next time you book
