I must admit there is not many new ships that I really look forward to seeing, but the new P&O Ship really has me interested, I am not in to rock climbing walls or bumper cars at sea, what I love to do is sit back and take in the view, after all, you have to have an understanding with the sea to really appricate Cruising I think.

P&O announced only a couple of weeks ago that they are bringing out a new ship in 2020 which will be 180,000 gross tons and carry 5,200 passengers, now this is only 2000 passengers less that the Oasis class which are 40,000 gross tons bigger, but less hope that’s not as noticeable when you are on board.

We now have more details on what this new ship will have to keep guests entertained and what many people relate cruising to, is the sea, so she will have lots of sea vista. The atrium will feature a triple deck glass panel wall, flooding the space will light and sea views.

There is also going to be a glass dome on the pool deck which will be on of the four entertainment spaces within the ship and they will feature aerial performances, and projections onto the roof for immersive shows.

She will also have 17 different dining venues, including seven speciality restaurants. This is massive, Britannia only has 3. She will also feature 4 swimming pools and 16 whirlpools to keep everyone happy during the day.

The name of the ship will also be decided by the passengers over the next few years.

P&O as normally are building the ships of the future, for the future P&O passenger and this is certainly a ship which will be much anticipated by many.

What do you think P&O could do to entice you on board?
