MSC Return to Southampton and the first ever World Cruise!

MSC Cruises has undergone some major changes in their head office and we are starting to see some huge changes.

Yesterday MSC announced they would base the 2,518 Passenger ship MSC Magnifica in Southampton for the entire Summer season from April to November, this Is the first time in 3 years that MSC have homeported one of their ships in Southampton.

When I did the Magnifica, I was blown away by the quality of the ship, however having done the older ships, you can definitely see how much MSC have advanced in the past few years and if you want something  a little bit different with an Italian Flair then MSC is definitely worth getting on board.

There will be five new itineraries out of Southampton including a 14-day sailing doing the Iberia Coast, they will also offer UK and Norway cruises.

Have been on MSC Magnifica myself I am really excited to see what MSC do here, also MSC are known for being very good value for money so it may mean that we can sneak that extra holiday in.

 They have also announced that MSC will also do there very first World Cruise in 2019 covering 32 countries and 49 different ports of call across the 6 continents. The cruise will be 119 nights and will be on the popular MSC Magnifica. World Cruises are a never growing market with the likes of Oceania, Regent, Cruise and Maritime, Cunard, P&O and Cunard all offering Round the World however MSC Cruises are set to also offer this at silly prices, making what was once a unfordable experience – affordable!
