Fit for A Queen! Quite Literally!

When I ask a lot of people that are new to cruising, what made you want to do a cruise? there response is nearly always the same. I know someone who does them all the time, and I would like to see what all the fuss is about. Majority of people then come back, talk to friends and so forth. I have had someone once say to me ‘I want to Cruise but I can’t swim!’, once you get passed the initial fear and worry of trying something new you’ll more than likely find your self hooked.

But here’s is the problem as more and more people cruise, more cruise ships are built to help with the ever expanding demand. If you have a large group of friend who cruise, and cruise on all different cruise lines, whose advice do you listen to? Well how about none and try something recommended by the Queen!

Since Queen Elizabeth lost her personal ship – the Royal Yacht Britannia in 1997 the Queen has been aboard another special ship she holds dear – The Hebridean Princess. She first chartered the ship in 2006 for her 80th Birthday and then four years later to celebrate the 60th Birthday of Princess Anne and Prince Andrews 50th.

Last year Hebridean was award the Queen’s Royal Warrant – this means Hebridean are allow to advertise the point that the Queen has sailed on board Hebridean and this could mean she is going to take another Trip with them Soon? Who knows, imagine that ‘I had a cabin next to the Queen!’

Hebridean are the only current cruise line with this Royal Warrant from the Queen, this could be also to do with the cruises Hebridean do, the offer itineraries taking in the Romantic landscapes of Scotland and again for the first time in five years will be doing Norway. The Queen once said Scotland was the only place she felt she could relax.

Hebridean Offer All Inclusive cruise so you do not even need to take any money with you, All of you shore excursions are included, all entrances fees to venues featured and transport to and from each place.

All meals and snacks on board and expect Picnic and barbecues organised are port of the itineraries, and come the end of the day if you just want some fresh fruit, why not pick your own from the many fresh fruit baskets around the ship

Hebridean also include specially selected wines and spirits, champagne, beers, soft drinks, tea and coffee throughout your cruise.

If you are a little more adventurous why not take advantage of the bicycles, gym equipment or fishing tackle all provided by the ship.

You don’t even need to worry about tips as these are also all included.

You will receive First class service which is the envy of most of Hebrideans competitors, they offer attentive service however friendly and unobtrusive to bring people back year after year. The crew to passenger ratio is almost one to one.

With Hebridean Small is beautiful and thanks to the size they are able to take you places you would not be able to see on a bigger ship and places that would take an age by car, so all you need to do is sit back and relax. What could be better than siting in the Lounge sailing in to the sunset, glass of wine in hand listening to tales of regional myths and legends!

The Hebridean Princess carries just 50 guest, she has thirty elegant and well appointed cabins with ten being dedicated to the single traveller. Each cabin has been named after famous places, Isles and sounds in Scotland to add to the romance of a small Luxury ship floating with spectacular scenery all around, the also feature Molton Brown Toiletries, this little gem of a cruise ship has a real feel of a county house afloat.

There is no Bingo or Broadway shows, no spa as the ship is so small, its the accommodation and the food which give this little ship it 6* rating and boy does she deserve it!

But don’t take my word for it or the Queen’s – Try it for yourself, I would love to hear your feedback.
