Celebrity Cruises has announced some big changes to the Suite benefits on board all of their ships with exception of the Celebrity Expedition but I must say this is such a big change and I would ask you to read and consider how much you could enhance your experience and save a lot of money buy going in a suite.
Firstly and following in similar steps to Cunard, Celebrity will have a private restaurant inside the main restaurant exclusively for Suite Guest serving delicacies inspired by the places you’re visiting, so not much use if your sailing around the UK!
There is a suite to cater for whatever you need from Sky Suites for those wanting a little more space and the benefit of a bathtub up to a Reflection suite at over 1,600 square feet and featuring a glass enclosed shower with stunning sea views and baby grand piano’s. Suites also benefit from a personal butler to help with all sorts from unpacking your suitcase to bringing you all your meals in your suite.
But that is nothing compared to the changes coming in to play from April 2015, take a look at all this.
Book a Celebrity, Signature, Royal, Penthouse or Reflection Suite and enjoy,
Michael’s Club VIP Lounge with,
For those going up a little higher in the Suite experience and booking a Royal, Penthouse and Reflection Suite will enjoy:
Now one to my two favourite bits,
Number one – you will receive Unlimited Internet thought out the entire cruise so if you want to browse and download films 24/7 you will not be charged a penny.
Number two – You can eat in any of the Speciality restaurants as many times as you want throughout the cruise, so if you wanted Murano’s each night or Tuscan Grill – not a problem and its completely free – Worth up to $60.00 per couple per night, and not forgetting you also have the in suite dining and the private restaurant you are really spoilt for choice.
Personally I think these benefits are much better than those offered by Cunard as they are giving away the benefits for those that pay that little bit more, whereas with Cunard if you are booked in a Princess Grill you still receive the same as those booked in a Q1 Queens Grill minus of course the size of the suites. Princess Grill is also not Butler but the price between the lower Queens Grill – Q6 and the top Q1 can still be thousands of pounds difference on some voyages.
Are you due to travel in one of the top suites on Celebrity next year? I think you will be over the moon with the new benefits.
One another note for those that cruise with Celebrity and Royal Caribbean, one the newer ships in the Royal Caribbean fleet they are also adding a private suite restaurant as part of the new Dynamic Dining so this is something they may roll out to all the other ships in due course but more so on Celebrity due to the Luxury element.
Keep Cruising!
