Celebrity Cruises announce Project EDGE!

Quantum Class was known as Project Sunshine and the 2 Brand new ships for Celebrity will be known as Project Edge. Those that have spoken to me will know that Celebrity are my favourite cruise line so I am really excited about this, more so than the Quantum Class and Britannia.

Celebrity Eclipse – Solstice Class – Largest Class currently in the fleet

Yes that’s right, Celebrity have recently announced that they will launch two brand new ships under the nickname Project Edge.

The two new ships will enter service in 2018 and 2020.

Both the ships will hold 2900 guests which is actually slightly more than the current Solstice Class.

The two ships will be based around the luxury experiences found on board the Millennium and Solstice Class which offer the ultimate in Luxury and sophistication.

At 984 feet long, 123 feet wide and 190 feet high they will be slight smaller in length to the current Solstice class, but then the new ships are slightly wider on the beam.

STX France will build the two brand new ships and they are known for building some of the most innovative and stylish ship in the world.
