Well 2016 is quickly approaching and I wanted to take a moment to wish all my past passenger and viewers that come to my blog a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

2015 has been a very Busy and Exciting year with lots going on, March saw P&O take delivery of Britannia, the biggest ship built for the UK Market, April saw Anthem of the Seas float in to Southampton for her Maiden season from the UK. May saw the 3 Queens – Elizabeth, Victoria and the QM2 sail in to Southampton to mark the start of the 175th Anniversary of Cunard and the summer saw Queen Mary 2 marked the route of the first Transatlantic crossing from Liverpool to New York and then just a couple of weeks ago Norwegian sailed in to Southampton with the brand new NCL Escape, and not to mention that Crystal Cruises have expanded in to the world of River Cruising!

We are also proud to be 54th fasted growing private company in the UK over the last 2 years in the Sunday Times/Virgin FastTrack 100!

Looking forward to 2016, we have Ovation of the Sea coming to Southampton for a short spell of cruises in April before heading off to sunny shores, the World’s largest cruise ship Harmony of the Seas for the first time ever will offer 2 short mini cruises, the first time a ship of this size has sailed to and from Southampton although you will have to be quick to snap up the last few staterooms on these. Thomson will take over the Splendour of the Seas as she will join the Thomson fleet as the Thomson Discovery. Late in the Spring Queen Mary 2 will under-go a major transformation seeing her redesigned from top to bottom. Regent Seven Seas will also take delivery of their newest ship – Regent Explorer, proving that bigger is not always better!

On from here P&O will celebrate 180 Year of Heritage in 2017, Silversea will take delivery of their new ship the Silver Muse in 2017 and Celebrity will launch with a brand new ship in 2018 and then another a couple years later and will Royal Caribbean dare to go bigger than the Oasis Class? Only time will tell!

Is there anything you are looking forward to?
