Yesterday I had the pleasure of visiting the fabulous new Norwegian Escape whilst she was in Southampton.
I’ve always had a soft spot for NCL since I sailed on Epic a few years ago (and I’m booked to cruise on her again next March – just incase I hadn’t told you enough times already) and very much looking forward to it – especially after the fantastic feedback I’ve had from customers that have just returned from her post-refit sailing.
Escape is beautiful! Modern, sleek and with lots of fun to be had onboard including the rope course (watch our video here).
There are so many restaurants to choose from including French, Japanese and Italian cuisine, a steak restaurant, sushi bar, and many more – something for everyone. And lets not forget the buffet restaurant which has a HUGE selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Escape reminded me a lot of Breakaway – just a bit bigger. There are numerous bars and lounges to choose from too and something always going on somewhere on the ship. You really couldn’t get bored on this ship. The staff are friendly and so helpful – always smiling.
The facilities for children are fantastic too – Escape had one of the largest kids club areas I’ve ever seen on a ship! Plenty to keep them busy for hours!
I got to have a look at one of the Haven Suites too which are beautiful. Booking one of these gives you access to an exclusive area with pool as well as lots of extra amenities and added touches that will make your cruise absolutely perfect.
Pictures will be added shortly.
I have lots of info and pictures from my visit. If you’d like any, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
