New TV show for Cruise addicts

A couple of weeks ago I attended a ship visit on Royal Princess.  We were told in the morning that they had something to announce later that day that was ‘big news’ and very exciting.

In the Summer, a new documentary will be aired on ITV called ‘The Cruise Ship’.  The star of the show will be Royal Princess herself and will feature behind-the-scenes footage of the crew and passengers giving us an insight into what goes on.

Paul Ludlow, Princess Cruises’ managing director for UK and Europe, said: “We are thrilled the crew on Royal Princess will star in this major series.

“We’re positive the show will strike a chord with everyone who enjoys travelling with us and also open up the appeal of cruising to a whole new generation of holidaymakers.

“Even our most travelled guests will be amazed at just how much hard work goes into making sure our ships run smoothly. We’re so proud of everything Princess Cruises has to offer and can’t wait for television viewers to see this for themselves.”

I think this programme will be of huge benefit to the cruising industry giving people that maybe haven’t cruised before or haven’t even considered cruising an idea of how fantastic these holidays can be.
