Carrying on from the posts I’ve written about my dads time working on QE2, I thought I’d add the last few photos, some of which are of places or ships that I don’t know of recognise.

It’s a shame that QE2 is such a bad state of disrepair now in Dubai with no one doing anything with her after she was due to be turned into a luxury hotel.  After servicing her guests for many years, it’d be fantastic to see her restored but I’m not sure if the damage caused by her sitting in that scorching heat with no air conditioning means she’s past a point of return.  Only time will tell.
