Where will you find the BEST service in the cruise industry?

Having worked in this industry now for many, many years, we get a lot of feedback which is invaluable as it enables us to give future customers detailed and relevant information on the cruises they’re interested in. (As nice as it would be for every single one of us to sail on every single ship to get first hand experience, it’s just not possible unfortunately).

Over the years, I’ve always had consistent feedback about the crew and service provided on a certain fleet.  Can you guess who it is? Go on, try it….

Every person I have ever spoken to that has returned from a Thomson cruise has ALWAYS commented on how friendly and accommodating every single member of staff is during their cruise and I’ve even been told that the staff and crew on Thomson ships have given a better standard of service and been more friendly than that experienced on some of the luxury ‘six star’ cruise lines.

There is something special about Thomson cruises and they have a lot going for them:

1) Their itineraries always tend to be more port intensive than other lines and also visit a lot of ports that others don’t (like Cuba for example).

2) They offer regional flights – Norwich, Bournemouth, Doncaster, Bristol, Cardiff, Glasgow to name but a few (but there are many more – 19 to be exact!).

3) They have one of the best value for money All Inclusive drinks packages in the industry – from just £70 a week you can have alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks included!  If you book Island Escape (operated by Thomson) all your drinks are included in the price you pay for the cruise!

4) Tips are included in the price you pay for the cruise so no added extras at the end.

5) Most of their ships have recently had refits and are now all sparkly and new looking and some of them are even ‘Platinum’ ships.

6) And most importantly – my dad working on the QE2 for many years as a head chef and now cruises with Thomson and loves them!
