Virgin Voyages New Beach Club

There is a lot of interest at the moment with the launch of the brand new Virgin Cruise brand.
Scarlet Lady will be the first ship to debut and we have already been getting pictures of the cabins and on board facilities.
They have also announced that they will have their own private island in the Bahamas the same as most cruise lines but this one will be different.
I wasn’t really taken by the pictures I have seen of the décor on board but I do like the look of Bimini which is their private retreat.
The ship will dock for a day with a short transfer from the pier to The Beach Club which will have a huge lagoon pool and will overlook the beach which Virgin say will rival the best beach clubs in Ibiza and St Tropez.
During the day there will be the usual activities ranging from yoga to the more energetic and there will be DJ’S and pool parties. There will even be occasional guest performances from celebrities such as Boy George and Mark Ronson. By evening there will be a bonfire on the beach and a music performance while the sun sets.
I really think this would appeal to most people and offers something different to most main stream cruise lines.
Virgin certainly seem to be targeting a younger market with the first tattoo parlour at sea and celebrity DJ’S but I am sure there will be plenty for all age groups.
