Tapas & Sangria

Last weekend we went out to one of my favourite restaurants Barceloneta. As the name suggests this is a Spanish Tapas restaurant in Leicester. It was my 11^th wedding anniversary on Saturday and because we had no babysitters we took the kids along too.

They love it there aswell so were pleased when we told them they could come. It is a great place to go with the kids because we can order lots dishes so they can try a variety of food and don’t need to worry if they don’t like something.

Luckily they both like their food so they are not fussy eaters and will try most things.

The sun was shining and the sangria was flowing so it felt like we were on holiday.

It is a shame Ventura doesn’t have the ramblas area serving tapas anymore because I always thought this would be a popular venue and we would have enjoyed that on our cruise we have booked.

I am sure we will enjoy the many other dining venues anyway so I am looking forward to that already and I only have 18 months to wait !!

Luckily I don’t have to wait that long now for my next holiday which is 5 weeks today and counting.
