Australia seems to be one of the most popular cruise destinations at the moment with a record number of ships cruising there.
Cruising has become much more popular with the Australian market which has prompted 8 cruise ships to make their maiden debut in this area.
It is not hard to see why these cruises are so popular not just with local people but for nationalities from all over the world.
There are so many combinations of itineraries and destinations that you can visit during your cruise or combine as a land stay before or after.
Often they start and end in cities such as Sydney, Perth, Auckland so you can add a city break to your stay or we can make onward travel arrangements to make sure your holiday of a lifetime is exactly what you want.
After all it is a long way to go to have to miss something you really want to do.
It is also a great way to combine a holiday with visiting friends and relatives. Most people now days seem to know of someone living in Australia so often people choose to say with their relatives and then add a cruise to make the most of their trip.
I visited Australia years ago and stayed in one of my most favourite places of all time which was Sydney, before joining my cruise in Cairns.
The cruise was amazing and aswell as fulfilling my dream of snorkelling in the Great Barrier Reef I also cruised in the beautiful Whitsunday Islands and went on a river cruise feeding crocodiles in Darwin. The cruise then went on to visit Indonesia where I saw the famous Komodo dragons and ended in Bali.
The cruises also offer visits to places such as Tasmania and the Pacific Islands.
As you can see the choices are endless.
If you are considering a cruise down under give me a call and I will be happy to discuss your options with you.
