P&O Britannia

P&O have just released the itineraries and fares for the newest addition to their fleet Britannia which is the largest cruise ship built exclusively for the British market.

I am sure you have already seen the publicity surrounding this because it is already in huge demand.

We did have a webinar today with P&O where they introduced us to this beautiful ship and gave us more information of what this ship will have to offer.

The Britannia will be a classic ship with some of the traditions of their ships like the Aurora and will also include some of the modern touches of their more modern ships like the Ventura and Azura.

Families will be welcome on board and there will be fantastic facilities for children.

All outside cabins will have a balcony which is great news and has worked very well for other lines.

They also announced they will have favourite British chef James Martin on board on select cruises who will be hosting cookery classes for any one keen to brush up on their dinner party skills.

I am sure this will be hugely popular so if you are interested in this be sure to book early.

Another first for P&O is the Limelight club which is an entertainment and dining venue. There will be a cover charge to dine here but will be well worth it.

You will be entertained by musicians playing jazz music etc whilst enjoying your meal and there are smaller tables so if you prefer a romantic meal for 2 this would be the perfect venue.

The theatre looks amazing too. There will be an LED visual screen behind the stage transporting you to more scenes than ever would have been possible before

This is a first for any cruise line and I can’t wait to see it for myself.
