Off on my holiday

It is my last few days at work until I go off on holiday for 2 weeks.
Unfortunately I am not going to be cruising this time but my next holiday is already booked and I am already looking forward to that which is on a Celebrity Cruise.
This time I am off to Kos in the Greek Islands. We went last year and had such an amazing time we decided to go back this year.
Usually I would prefer to try somewhere different but I was overruled by my husband and kids so off we go again this year.
We are staying at the Mitsis Blue Domes hotel which is beautiful. I don’t really like all inclusive because I prefer to eat out in local restaurants but with 11 restaurants we never got bored.
This hotel includes the main buffet dining room but then also 10 other speciality restaurants at no extra charge . There is a Mexican, Asian, Greek, Italian, German, Meze, Burger, Sushi, Pitta and Pastry corner. The pastry corner serves up Italian ice-cream and the most delicious sweet and savoury crepes. They also have an ice-cream man doing his rounds to your sunbed every day with waiter service drinks and a BBQ by the pool every lunchtime.
Evening entertainment is very low key they could do with somewhere a little livelier but that is my only negative. The kids loved the hotel run shows so they were more than happy which is the main thing.

This time I intend to explore the island a little more. Last year we stayed within the hotel as we were on a tighter budget having just returned from Florida.
Perhaps we will hire a car or maybe just use the local transport.
