MSC teams up with Chicco providing better facilites for families

MSC have teamed up with leading childcare specialist Chicco to enhance their services offered to families.

There will be all of the usual childrens clubs and acitvities available to provide your child with somewhere safe and fun with acitivities suited to their relevant age group.

For anyone who hasn’t experienced this it is far more advanced than the usual kids clubs available in resort hotels. They have educational and craft acitivities aswell as fun games and depending on their age computerised games and dance sessions.

Quite often parents have a job enticing their kids away from this area because they make friends of a similar age and are having too much fun to sit and watch a show with their parents !!

It usually takes a few days when I travel with my kids before they decide to try kids club but once they do they have a fantastic time

MSC are now also offering an infants club which will be open at specified times on sea days (not included in the price )

Parents will be able to leave their children aged 1-3 in the safe hands of the staff to go and enjoy a much deserved coffee, cocktail or spa treatment etc. For me this would have made a huge difference to my holiday. My children are 7 & 9 now , good swimmers and I like to think they are well behaved. When we go on holiday it doesn’t really matter to me if they go to kids club because I enjoy their company and don’t feel like I need that time to have a break.

However when they were in the 1-3 age group this would have been heaven because you can’t even sit back and read your book or close your eyes even for a few minutes. If we did it was because I was taking it in turns with my husband to be supervising them.

Even if you just leave them for an hour it gives you a little bit of time to relax and enjoy your well earned holiday.

MSC have bottle warmers in designated areas of the ship, high chairs and a special children’s section of the buffet with a huge selection of foods that even a fussy eater would find hard to resist. Children can even enjoy creating their own pizzas with the chef.

They can also provide pushchairs and baby carriers to lighten the burden for you.
