Meet the Family

Well this is my first blog for cruise.co.uk so I thought I would start by introducing you to myself and my family.

I have worked for many years in the cruise industry (22 in fact but I prefer not to count )

In recent years I worked part time but now that both of my daughters are at school I have returned to work full time which I have to say I am really enjoying. Its great to share my day with people who share my love for travel and in particular cruising.

When i’m not working I love to spend time with my husband and children.

We have recently bought new bikes so are enjoying going out for bike rides and making the most of the weather while we can.

The countryside around where we live is beautiful and there are also a few local pubs to provide the odd refreshment when we have built up a thirst !!

I am hoping the exercise will help me to get fit although its not as easy getting back on a bike after all these years as I thought much to the amusement of my children.

Emily and Georgia love their bikes and have been inspired so much by the cycling events in the olympics thay they have decided they would like to compete in the olympics when they grow up ( slightly more realistic that wanting to be a princess which was last weeks wish )

All I can do is encourage them to follow their dreams.
