I am off on holiday for 2 weeks

I am so excited to be going off on holiday today

I finish work at lunchtime and will have a few hours to do some last minute packing then as soon as the kids finish school we are off.

I am so looking forward to this holiday as now I work full time I find I have less and less time to see my children so it will be lovely to have 2 weeks of quality time with them

We are driving to Gatwick this afternoon and staying at the Premier Inn then flying tomorrow to the Dominican Republic

The hotel looks fantastic, it’s quite a big resort but will suit us as plenty of things for kids so there is no danger of them getting bored !!

There is a waterpark, children’s club, beach games and mini disco for them and as we are going with friends I am sure they will all have a lovely time together

I am looking forward to eating out in one of the many restaurant’s and hopefully some lovely warm sunshine ( especially as it has been so cold here )

The only worry I have is managing a 9 hour flight with a 5 and 8 year old , I still remember them asking last year if we were nearly there when we had only just taken off

This is our first long haul flight with them so we will see how it goes as might be back to the Med next year.
