Drinks packages on P&O ?

P&O have launched their new campaign titled “The drinks are on us “

To me and many other people you would assume that P&O are now offering drinks packages on their ships and that they are joining other cruise lines by offering a free drinks package for a limited booking period.

However this is not the case as they are trying to compete with other cruise lines so they have used this title to try and entice people in.

The deal they are actually offering is on board credit. This can then be used to pay for drinks purchased on board and the amount varies depending on the length of cruise and type of cabin booked. I thought they were trying to make their offers less confusing to people but they seem to have done the opposite.

If P&O want to attract people in this way then maybe they should consider having an option of all inclusive drinks as they are now one of the few lines to offer this. Most people now ask for drinks packages and sometime they have switched to another cruise line who will offer this.

There are some fantastic offers now for this from as little as £10.00 per person per night which is much more attractive than a little extra on board credit.
