New Generation of ships

MSC have released images of their new Meraviglia which is the first in their new generation of ships.

This will debut in May 2017 and is already on sale now.
The MSC Meraviglia will be the largest ship built this side of the Atlantic and will carry up to 5700 passengers.
One of their new features is that you can use technology on your smartphone or wristband to make reservations, payments and even keep track of your children.
Royal Caribbean have introduced this on their new Quantam class ships and I am sure this will be adopted with many cruise lines in the future.

MSC continue to be one of the most competitive cruise lines on price and offer free child prices all year round. They also offer one of the best drinks packages at sea and I can speak from personal experience. Even if you only enjoy the odd tipple their drinks packages are worth having as they also include delicious Italian ice-cream and speciality tea and coffees.
I found MSC to be very relaxed with extremely friendly crew and there was a nice atmosphere in the bars and lounges in the evening with live bands and good entertainment.
Most people think because they are a European cruise line that they will struggle with the languages but English was spoken by all and apart from the lifeboat drill there were not many other announcements which can be annoying on some cruise lines.
