The best time to book is now

The launch of the 2016/2017 programme is finally here and there are great deals to be had.

P&O and Cunard have released their prices and itineraries for next year so you can choose your perfect cruise and secure your booking the moment it goes on sale.

No other cruise line has the demand for pre registrations that these 2 have and every year is the same.

It is definitely advisable to pre register because once fluid pricing takes place the fare will increase. Also the most popular dates will sell out quickly and you will find that many of the lead in fares and top end cabins such as suites will be booked. Also family cabins will sell out in school holiday periods.

The prices are at their lowest and you great extra incentives such as on board credit, free coach or parking and you get to choose your restaurant sitting and cabin number.

I have been asked about what happens if they book now and then they reduce the fare nearer the time. We can’t guarantee future pricing and offers but the chances are if there are late deals there will be no free benefits and you will take pot luck on your cabin and dining.

For me the wrong dinner sitting could ruin my holiday so I prefer to book in advance and make sure everything is as I would want from my cruise.

The prices could also go up as I have found for my cruise at new year.

I booked at brochure launch for this new  year and I am very pleased I did as the price is now £600 more than I paid.

There are other cruise lines already on sale now such as Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Carnival, Princess etc.

So if you are planning a cruise next year now really is the best time to book.
