Disney introduce mega hit Frozen to their ships

Anyone who has little children will know how popular the Disney movie Frozen has been.

Every child I know owns the DVD and every party we go to there are little girls running round dressed up as Elsa. Even at Christmas there was Elsa ready to meet and greet the children at various light switch on and festive parties. I think my youngest daughter was more excited to see her than Santa !!

So it is no surprise that Disney are now introducing Frozen on their ships Dream, Fantasy, Wonder and Magic.

On a number of sailings in Europe and Alaska they will be recreating the scene from the hit movie by transforming the atrium into a winter wonderland.

The atrium lobby will be scattered with  snow effect and the grand staircase will be lined with sparkling icicles.

There will of course be the chance to meet the characters themselves with special appearances from Else, Anna, Sven, Kristoff and Olaf.

There will be activities for the children to take part in including a build a snowman activity where they will take on Elsa’s magical powers to create snow and ice.

There will be a stage production and even a themed dining experience in the main dining room with special Nordic dishes to choose on the menu.

To end the evening there will be a deck party with giant snowflakes, icicles and snow covered rocks.

There will be family dancing on the pool deck and a special adult’s only party in the nightclub with speciality frozen drinks to complete the night.

Well done Disney this is sure to be a huge success.
