Carnival Corporation have just announced they are slashing WIFI costs by 90% across their fleet.
This will be available on 40% of its fleet by the end of this year and over the majority of its fleet by the end of 2016.
This move is going to be very popular and hopefully it will prompt other cruise lines to follow suit and offer a more affordable internet package.
In this day and age most of us rely heavily on having access to the internet even when on holiday. I remember a time when we didn’t even take a mobile phone on holiday but now I wouldn’t leave the house without it.
WIFI is of high importance to people and is one of the most common questions I am asked and usually the over inflated prices charge by cruise lines are far too expensive for people’s expectations.
Whether it be to work and keep up with emails , keep in touch with family, for social media or to keep the kids happy with online games most people seem to need this service.
Prices will start from as little as $5.00 per day and connection speeds are 10 times faster than before.
This is a great move by Carnival and once which I am sure will benefit their sales and keep their customers happy.
