HOLIDAY WITH NO CRUISE FOR ME

Well a lovely week off next week and what I am doing?  Not a Cruise !!! first Summer for 10 years.

Do not feel too sorry for me we had a sneaky week in Dubai in June and I am off with the girls on the Crown Princess for a relaxing 4 night break in September.

My intention for this week was to bag one those last minute deals. But be warned, that is fine if just a couple travelling but with a 16 year old daughter we cannot get for love nor money a three bedded cabin.

So all you lovely families out there learn from my  mistake (or the fact that hubby as booked 2 golfing holidays instead) and book early to avoid being Cruise less like me.

There are some amazing deals for next summer.

I will spend the week researching our next cruise that is until Thursday when we nip to London to see a show . Les Miserables a treat for our Daughter on passing her GCSE’s

although she did get 2 of each, A, B ,C  and D not so good.  There is always sixth form thanks to new school age levers law.

Roll on 26th September when we board the Fantastic Crown Princess. Two of my friends have never cruised before, so they are in for a treat. I will fill you in more about this nearer the time. No Donny Osmond on this cruise though. Those of you who know me will know that story very wel

So I will just enjoy my time off  as we are experiencing Fever Festival here in Knaresborough with plenty going on  both in and out of the pubs.

This is all new to me so hope I have not rambled on too much.  Be back alive and booking from 2nd September.
